From The Desk of the Director | New Brand Identity

Brand identity is important.  It’s the visual representation of the voice and mission of a company or organization.  A strong brand is imperative for many types of organizations, including nonprofits.

Over the past seven years, Mercer County Better Together (MCBT) has grown from a grassroots initiative to a robust community and economic development organization. Today, MCBT employs a staff of three and is led by a 12-member board of directors representing communities across Mercer County.

When organizational growth met the need for an updated website, MCBT said “Yes!” to the opportunity to rebrand.

The rebrand includes an updated color story, a clear set of fonts and guidelines, a new principal logo and two new auxiliary logos for various applications.

You’ll find the county shape integrated into the design, representing the inclusive nature of MCBT and the work we do for the benefit of the entire Mercer County community. The new logo features a clean, modern, professional design that embodies the vision which built MCBT: Mercer County is a stronger community when we all work together.

We invite you to visit our updated website, which features our new brand and hosts several new tools and resources for the benefit of the Mercer County community.

On behalf of our staff, board members and volunteers, thank you for the time, talents and resources you’ve invested into MCBT over the years. We appreciate your support. We’re excited for our next chapter in improving the strength, sustainability and vibrancy of the Mercer County community.
